The ‘Tree of Life Center’ in Amman, Jordan is full of children’s healthy energy and enthusiasm for learning.
In the class held on April 29th, 18 children, which was significantly more than usual, gathered and had a lively time sweating together.
The class on this day focused on the basic and core movements of Taekwondo: Jiregi, kicking, and blocking.
At first, the children were clumsy in each movement, but through repeated practice, they are now showing off their movements with quite sharp spirit and discipline.
The children looked at each other's posture, cheered together when they succeeded in difficult movements, and smiles never left their faces throughout the class.
Children are learning not only healthy physical training but also the joy of hanging out together.
We could get a glimpse of the children's bright future by looking at them smiling brightly and taking pictures.
“The sound of children’s courageous cheers is the most powerful force that transforms despair into hope.
“I sincerely hope that the children of Amman will develop a healthy body and strong mind through Taekwondo, and that they will grow into talented people who can confidently face any difficulties.”
—Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid
