WECA located deep in a refugee camp with poor accessibility 0, 0);">Hilltop Kindergarten currently has about 130 young children gathering every day to take their first steps toward learning.
Although it was a difficult environment, we shared hearty nutritious snacks and gave warm encouragement to children who were more passionate about learning than anyone else.
The sight of children smiling brightly and taking care of each other even with a small snack is the warmest light that illuminates the barren refugee camp.
Meanwhile, WE nurtures future leaders At WE Secondary School, the WE Scholarship Award Ceremony was held for the third semester.
For South Sudanese refugee students in desperate need of funding for tuition, this scholarship is the only ray of hope to continue their studies.
This semester, a total of 14 students were selected as scholarship students, including 12 students ranked 1st to 4th in each grade and 2 student council presidents.
In particular, as scholarships were awarded based on grades each semester, healthy academic competition was sparked among students, and this semester, they showed such fierce effort and passion that the first place positions in all grades were changed.
We ask for the continued love and warm support of our supporting members so that the children of Adjumani, Uganda, who pioneer their own future without giving up on learning even in the harsh life of refugees, can move towards their dreams without wavering. Please.
"Even the harsh environment of a refugee camp cannot break children's pure passion and will for learning.
A bright tomorrow is visible through the smiles of children sharing snacks with fern hands and the efforts of refugee camp students who sweat day and night to receive scholarships."
