A meaningful result of “Add Value,” a welfare support project for children and youth with slow development and disabilities, supported by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) and jointly with the Inje County Family Center, ‘Beautiful Sketch Contest’ award ceremony and family gathering event was opened warmly in Inje, Gangwon-do. “Add” is a customized integrated support project that helps children and adolescents with special education and slow development in the Inje region develop IT capabilities and become independent members of society through culture and arts.
At this event, an awards ceremony was held to celebrate the outstanding works of the ‘Beautiful Drawing Contest’ in which children showed their individual colors and infinite possibilities on drawing paper.
Children who stood on the podium were filled with a thrilling sense of accomplishment and self-esteem through the precious experience of having their paintings recognized socially.
In particular, the event venue on this day was filled with excitement with a special celebratory performance performed by children and parents.

The audience gave generous cheers and applause to the courageous gestures of the children, who developed sensory integration and body balance by flying vigorously with both feet on the trampoline. It poured out.
Then, the mothers who came on stage made their hearts sing with the love and passion they had silently poured in.Powerful Nanta performance was introduced.
The drumbeat of mothers running together while silently watching their child's slow steps brings a thrill and overwhelming hope to all who watch. I passed it on.
We ask for your continued love and warm encouragement so that children's individuality can blossom into 'different value' rather than 'wrongness' beyond the prejudice between disabled and non-disabled people.
"Children's slow steps are by no means lagging behind, but a process of blooming in their own colors.
WECA will become a strong fence so that our children and families can confidently open their future without shrinking in the face of society's prejudice."
— Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of World Educational Cultural Aid
