Supported by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) WECA Taekwondo Class, Vineyard School, Rwanda, AfricaAlong with the current students who have moved up to the new grade, new first-year students who are new to Taekwondo have joined us this semester.
A total of 300 children from 1st to 6th grade of elementary school regularly wear uniforms twice a week and participate in training. Participate.
The two-day class held on September 14th and 15th focused on training on basic movements.
The children gradually learned basic hand movements such as downward blocking, body blocking, and face blocking, and worked hard at practicing basic kicks, from front kicks, turning kicks, and downward kicks to the more difficult jumping front kicks.
The dojo is filled with confident cheers as the combination moves tailored to the yellow belt level and the exciting downward kick practice are successfully completed with a serious look. Filled out.
It is an unfamiliar Korean martial art, but children are learning it with moderation and courtesy in each movement, developing not only physical strength but also confidence and concentration.
