World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) continues to provide support for children from North Korean defector families. Green Hair Library Picture Book Reading Class We deliver warm daily news.

In this long-running class with a total of 36 sessions, we meet every week and go on a journey into exciting picture books.

Instead of simply reading the words, we share the stories in the book, think deeply, and enjoy fun activities together by drawing colorful pictures on drawing paper or making things with our hands. style="font-family: NanumBarunGothic, NanumBarunGothicOTF; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Through these diverse cultural and educational activities, children are relieving the tension and anxiety they experienced in an unfamiliar environment and finding strong emotional stability.

Children who naturally gain a deep understanding of our language and culture grow up healthy and confident without shrinking in an unfamiliar society. They are firmly rooted as members of society.

Children who were initially cautious about showing their emotions are now expressing their thoughts freely and smiling brightly. We fill the classroom.

For parents of North Korean defector families who had great practical concerns about their children's education and emotional care, this steady reading time provided reassuring strength and support more than anything else. I am relieved.

Through bookshelf and play, we learn about our culture, develop the power to communicate with the world, and grow up courageously. We ask for your continued interest and warm support to the children of North Korean defector families.

"Colorful cultural education that allows children to freely express themselves by reading picture books and sharing their thoughts is the warmest way for children to naturally accept our culture and find emotional stability.

WECA will always be by our side and serve as a strong stepping stone so that children from North Korean defector families can develop healthy self-esteem and grow into confident members of our society."

— Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of World Educational Cultural Aid
