WECA With Home in Taunggyi, Shan State, Myanmar, supported by World Educational Cultural AidI received my first dental treatment and treatment for the healthy growth of children.
6 children staying at With Home and their nanny visited a dental clinic in the city.
Children who had not received proper oral care due to poor environments suffered from as few as 2 to as many as 4 cavities, and
Some children's teeth were so badly rotted that only the roots remained, so treatment was urgently needed.
The children sat on the treatment chair nervously due to the whirring sound of the machine, but the children held back their fear and bravely endured the first treatment without crying.
Children in serious condition will need 2-3 additional visits to continue receiving regular intensive treatment.
Starting with this treatment, we plan to thoroughly support continuous oral care and regular checkups so that With Home children can smile brightly without pain and receive adequate nutrition with strong teeth.
We ask for your warm interest and love from our supporting members so that the children of WECA With Home in Taunggyi, Myanmar, who have overcome their fear of unfamiliarity and have grown up, can develop their dreams in a healthy manner.
"I feel sad when I think about the toothache they must have endured for so long, but I am proud of the children who endured their fear and courageously completed the treatment.
WECA will spare no effort in providing careful care to ensure that With Home children grow up healthy both physically and emotionally."
