We would like to inform you about the official profile shooting of Flip Flower's hearing-impaired florists in 'Youth Subscription', a flower subscription campaign run by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) to support the economic and social independence of the hearing-impaired.
This profile shoot was a meaningful opportunity to announce a new leap for hearing-impaired young people to go beyond simple assistant work and take their first step into the world as professional florists.
The confident and bright smiles of the florists standing in front of the camera lens proved the passion they have poured into learning and training and their pride as experts.
In addition, a unique ‘signature bouquet’ that fully captures the individuality and delicate sensibility of each florist will be released as an official product of Flip Flower.
Overcoming the limitations of hearing impairment, he communicated directly with the world as an expert and proudly presented flowers with his name on them.
A hearing-impaired person who began to stand on his own as a proud leader in society, blooming beautiful flowers with the sense of his fingertips and warm gaze. We ask for the warm interest and support of our supporting members so that florists can become fully self-reliant through sustainable jobs.
"Independence through sustainable jobs, rather than one-time benefits, is the strongest way for young disabled people to break prejudice and stand tall as leading figures in society. It is strength.
WECA will continue to provide practical support to help hearing-impaired florists develop their capabilities and achieve stable independence."
— World Educational Cultural Aid Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan
