[Domestic] WECA Dream Cup Local Children’s Center Futsal Competition N…

Domestic 2026. 08. 10 10:54

The ‘WECA Dream Cup Local Children’s Center Futsal Competition’ supported by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) It was concluded successfully with great cheers and enthusiasm.

Although this competition was held in hot weather, the children's passion to demonstrate the skills they had honed to the fullest burned even hotter than the hot weather.

Teams participating from local children's centers across the country compete in a tournament format, with exciting matches and mature sportsmanship in each game. WECA provides careful support to ensure that children suffering from hot weather can participate safely and comfortably. No regrets were spared.

We have rented a cafe next to the stadium and created a dedicated rest area where children can enjoy a cool drink and take a break.

The children smiled happily while sharing drinks with their peers while sweating.

After all the intense tournament matches were over, an honorary award ceremony was held along with the announcement of the winning team.

Regardless of victory or defeat, the valuable experience of success and unforgettable memories were deeply engraved in the hearts of all the children who encouraged each other and ran without giving up until the end.

We ask for the warm interest and continued support of our sponsors for the children of local children's centers in Korea, who learn communication and teamwork through sports, find confidence, and grow into confident leaders of tomorrow.

"Sports scenes where children sweat and compete and encourage each other are the best for children to develop social skills and self-esteem. This is a learning place.

WECA will continue to spare no effort in supporting physical education so that children in blind spots in Korea can play freely and grow healthily without environmental constraints."

— Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of World Educational Cultural Aid
