On June 23, the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) successfully held the 「2026 WECA Sports Culture Festival」, a joint sports event with students from alternative education institutions registered in Incheon Metropolitan City. It was held.

This festival, held at the Incheon Metropolitan City Youth Training Center, was held to provide students with opportunities for healthy physical activities through active exchange and cooperation between schools and to expand the cultural and sports network of youth outside of school. It has been prepared.

This joint sports competition will feature six alternative education institutions in one place: Gyeongin Lincoln School, Dasarang Culture School, Sujeong Vision School, Yeolum School, Ohabi Leadership School, and Ibom School. We gathered together.

To break away from a simple competition-oriented competition Mixed teams for each school were organized and customized games were held for elementary and middle and high school students. The operation was distributed in indoor gymnasiums and playgrounds to ensure safe and lively communication.

Through the process of sweating together as a team, children break the awkwardness and learn the true value of cooperation by caring for and supporting each other. I learned.

The event opened with an opening ceremony and warm-up exercises at 9 a.m. and continued with a variety of community activities throughout the day.

In the morning Starting with new sports games that require deep cooperation, such as surf relay and Roll the Earth, preliminary matches for soccer, dodgeball, and basketball were held.

Following this, the tug-of-war and relay competitions, which are the flowers of the athletic competition, were held, and the excitement of the festival got even hotter.

In the afternoon Exciting mini-sports games and thrilling basketball and soccer finals were held centered on middle and high school students.

Thanks to everyone's active participation, the schedule was completed safely and pleasantly.

At the awards ceremony held after every game, there was warm applause to encourage each other, and everyone gathered together to take unforgettable memories. rgb(0, 0, 0);">We are sincerely grateful to our supporting members who always provide a strong foundation for children to play freely and grow into healthy members of society in a world without prejudice.

"I saw a healthy and bright future in the children who overcome the barriers of school and interact with each other through the language of sports.

WECA will continue to expand its network and support alternative school youth so that they can learn solidarity, feel confident, and grow healthily through a variety of cultural and sports activities."

— Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of World Educational Cultural Aid
