[Domestic] Support of feminine products for vulnerable children and ad…

Domestic 2026. 05. 27 09:13

The World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) provided women's product kits to children at a local children's center in Hwaseong City with donations raised through the Happy Bean fundraising campaign.

Feminine products that growing children need every month are necessities that can easily become a financial burden.

Additionally, it is difficult for children to use the support funds alone without any shortage of size.

To alleviate these children's concerns and help them grow up healthy without being intimidated, we prepared a feminine care kit to be delivered to a total of 200 children.

This kit contains three months' worth of feminine products carefully prepared by size, and also includes wet wipes, a heat pack, and a pouch.

Volunteers and WECA supporters gathered together for this delivery.

I finished the packaging by carefully distributing 3 months' worth of feminine products into each box with the mindset that my sister and my child would use them.

Gift boxes completed with such warm hands were carefully delivered to underprivileged children and adolescents through 33 local children's centers in Hwaseong City.

Thanks to the sponsors who rallied their hearts through Happy Bean and the volunteers who worked hard to help with packaging, the children were able to lead confident daily lives without worry.

“It is our society’s responsibility to ensure that children grow up healthy and not hurt for economic reasons.

“We are sincerely grateful to our sponsors and volunteers who protect the children’s normal daily lives.”

—Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid

In the future, WECA, the World Educational Cultural Aid, will continue to help underprivileged children and adolescents in Korea develop their dreams in a healthy way regardless of their environment.
