A fun music class was held in the after-school activity room of Hope Kindergarten, where children in the Otan region of Indonesia develop their dreams.
This class was prepared as part of a cultural support project to help children develop artistic sensitivity and find emotional stability through playing musical instruments.
WECA Otan Kindergarten children strengthened their playing skills by learning step by step from the basic scale of Doremi Fasolasi to basic major chords such as C, A, D, E, F, and G.
The children, who pressed the pianica keys and plucked the guitar strings with their fern-like hands, showed noticeably improved skills compared to before.
Children experience the joy of music with their whole body by experiencing various instruments.
After the passionate music class, we shared milk and snacks with the children to help them grow healthy.
This continuous education and cultural support serves as a strong support for children in the Otan region so that they can grow up brightly and healthily even in difficult environments.
Indonesia's future drawn through music
The kindergarten classroom, filled with the sounds of pianica and guitar, was filled with children's dreams and hopes.
Activities to help children discover their individual talents and cultivate rich emotions through systematic arts education support will continue in the future.
“Music has the power to unite children’s hearts and instill confidence in the world. I hope Otan Hope Kindergarten’s music classes will be a valuable start for children to play their dreams.”
-Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid
