We provided vision checkups and customized glasses to children at local children's centers. This support was designed to help children who saw the blackboard writing blurry or were looking closely at books to focus on learning with clear vision.
Through checkups, we checked each child's eyesight and allowed them to choose glasses that fit their faces. The children who tried the glasses smiled brightly, saying, “I can see the writing clearly now!” and looked at each other with awkward but excited expressions. As their vision became clearer, the children's expressions also became brighter.
Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan said, "For children, vision is directly connected to learning. A pair of glasses can make a big difference in children's school life and confidence."
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to provide necessary support close to daily life so that children can grow without difficulty in learning.
