This is news from the completion ceremony of WECA Somang Kindergarten in Otan, Indonesia.

Otan, a remote island in Indonesia, is cut off from the rest of the world, so going to kindergarten was unthinkable. You can get an education by taking a boat to the city, but it's a dream come true for children in difficult circumstances.

So, the World Educational Cultural Aid decided to build Somang Kindergarten to instill dreams in these children. We worked closely with local officials to build the building one by one with great care, and the kindergarten was finally completed.

On the day of the completion ceremony, local officials and residents gathered together to celebrate the birth of Somang Kindergarten. The faces of the residents looking at the newly built kindergarten were full of joy and gratitude. Everyone was happy that the children had a place to learn. The joy of the day was doubled by the bright smiles of the innocent children.

As the name Somang Kindergarten suggests, Indonesian children and parents are able to have new hopes through education thanks to the warm interest and support of our sponsors. We ask for your continued interest and support so that children can escape the cycle of poverty and become self-reliant.

WECA, the World Educational Cultural Aid, will hold the hands of those who are unable to receive education due to poverty and are experiencing difficulties, and together we will create a bright future.
