News about Tanzania's 'World Albino Day'.
Every year on June 13, Tanzania holds the World Albino Day event, which provides treatment and various blocking items for albino patients and carries out various activities to raise awareness of albinism.
The World Educational Cultural Aid also participated in this event and provided UV-blocking glasses, hats, and sunscreen for albino patients.
Albino is a disease caused by a congenital lack of melanin, and is very damaging to the skin and eyes from the sun.
Moreover, it is said that albino hunters who cut off body parts due to incorrect superstitions are rampant, making them live in danger every day.
The World Educational Cultural Aid, in cooperation with the Tanzania Albino Association (TAS), is carrying out various support projects for children with albinism.
Please share your kind heart so that albino patients can survive!
