In Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, there is the WECA Education Center, a building built by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) to fulfill the dreams of children.
WECA Education Center7 children in need of basic education gathered together and had a fun learning time.
The class on this day consisted of learning numbers 1 to 5 and learning the alphabet 'Y'.
The children watched the video, learned the shapes and sounds of numbers, and learned the concept of numbers by writing them on the blackboard.
In particular, I played hide and seek with my friends during break time, and danced together at the end of class, experiencing first-hand that learning is fun.
The children's sense of accomplishment grew as they carefully colored the letter 'Y' and pasted it on the blackboard.
Held on the same dayreading classIn class, special speed reading training was provided to improve children's reading skills.
The five students demonstrated concentration by carrying out the mission of reading one page of a picture book in 3 minutes.
I gained confidence in reading by practicing reading words, pictures, and numbers repeatedly under time limits.
After class, we engaged in creative coloring activities using both hands to promote brain development and emotional stability at the same time.
The children showed great interest in the unique teaching method they had never seen before and enjoyed the joy of learning.
The World Educational Cultural Aid continues to operate various programs such as language schools and reading classes so that children in Bishkek can receive quality education in a better environment.
We will do our best to ensure that this foundation of hope becomes a strong foundation for creating a bright future for children.
"Every single brick of this building we built contains the precious hearts of our sponsors who support the dreams of children. We hope that the children of Bishkek will study and grow to their heart's content at this beautiful language school and become talented people who will brighten the world in the future." —Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid
