[Overseas] News from WECA Somang Kindergarten in Narok, Kenya

Overseas 2026. 05. 15 13:24

Narok, KenyaWECA Somang KindergartenWe moved without stopping even during the April vacation period.

Teachers traveled to all corners of nearby villages in kindergarten vehicles to find children in need of education.

We personally visited homes, consulted with parents, handed out leaflets, and did our best to recruit children so that more children could pursue their dreams of attending kindergarten.

Early Childhood Teacher College Affiliated FacilitiesConstruction sites are also moving forward step by step despite difficult conditions.

Due to the construction boom in the region, it has been difficult to find engineers and material prices have risen significantly.

In order to reduce costs, we manufacture window frames and doors ourselves and continue to work on interior walls and exterior finishing.

Currently, flooring construction is being delayed for a while due to the price of tiles skyrocketing two to three times, but we will overcome this critical moment and complete a comfortable study space for children.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our sponsors who support us so that construction can proceed without stopping despite various restrictions.

“A sincere heart for children becomes the strength to overcome any environment.

We will do our best to ensure that your precious donations are not in vain.WECA will take responsibility until the end to create a home where children in Narok, Kenya can dream of a better future."

—Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid
