Today is the event that WECA held on May 25th. [Hana Financial Volunteer Activities to Help People with Developmental Disabilities Be Self-Reliant and Support Low-income People]I would like to introduce you to .

This is how the volunteer work went! 

 

- Date/Location: 2020.5.25 (Monday) / Hana Financial Headquarters

- Purpose: Sharing to support the vulnerable and achieve self-reliance during the COVID-19 crisis.

- Detailed schedule:

♥ 08:00~9:30 Arrival at event venue, setup, and preparation

♥ 09:30~10:00 Event start information and class information

♥ 10:00~12:30 Ceramic crafts (pottery making) and happy box making

♥ 12:30~13:30 End of class, commemorative photo, meal (box lunch)

♥ 13:30~14:30 Finishing and cleaning up

♥ 14:30~ Dissolution

1. “What are your volunteer activities today?” 

OT for the event was held. Like a pottery program to improve self-reliance for people with developmental disabilities! This is a special program where people with developmental disabilities are responsible for everything from program explanation to class support! 15 volunteers with beautiful faces and hearts participated in today’s volunteer service.

It is said that the ‘pottery’ and ‘happiness boxes’ created through the activity will be delivered to ‘50 families living in small-town villages’ to help them make a living!

It’s rewarding just thinking about it being helpful during difficult times!

2. Pottery crafts and making a happy box

Would you like to start making your own pottery? special teachers If you make pottery carefully under guidance, today's experience will be a success! 

Our volunteers have kind hands and kind hearts!Thinking about the independence of people with developmental disabilitiesToday’s experience of making everything yourself!The bowl is completed by cutting the clay dough rolled with a rolling pin into the plaster mold and smoothing it out.It works! I think a lot of pretty dishes came out just like the volunteers did! 

These dishesUse it preciously for our neighbors who are in difficult times due to the coronavirus.I hope so!
