▷ Books that will help children dream and school supplies donated from Korea were the biggest gifts.

▷ The children cannot hide their happiness as they receive school supplies delivered with precious donations from sponsors.

Children who have not received proper formal education or been exposed to arts and physical education fall in love with an English storybook and smile brightly as they receive colorful colored paper.

▷ With the precious donations of our sponsors, we delivered invaluable books and school supplies to children.

Because there are no desks or stools, the children receive education by kneeling on the original benches, and I am proud and saddened by the children who participate in activities with a passion for learning even on the cold floor and dust. WECA sponsors various educational activities for Cannan Academy Primary School children living in these harsh environments.

▷ Even in harsh and poor educational environments, children do not give up hope through learning.

Kenya considered education a core task for national development and implemented compulsory education in 1979 and free education in 2003. With the introduction of free education for elementary schools in January 2003, the number of elementary school student enrollments increased from 6 million in 2002 to 8 million in 2007, but the sudden introduction of free education led to many problems, such as a shortage of teachers and textbooks and inadequate facilities. Due to the lack of overall facility support and educational system, many students are taking classes under the hot sun.

▷ We at Wika are working to create a high-quality educational environment for children who will become the light of Kenya.

We, Wika, aim to help children complete elementary school education by ensuring educational conditions for children through child sponsorship. Rather than providing one-time support, we plan to provide mutual assistance between the sponsoring family and the local community through community linkage for the economic independence of the family. We, Wika, are working to establish a foundation for self-reliance and strengthen operational capabilities through continuous communication with the support and support provided by our sponsors, and further strive to provide high-quality educational opportunities to children who will become the light of Kenya.

▷ Thanks to the helping hands of sponsors, we were able to change from a poor educational environment to a better environment with school supplies.

▷ We delivered pretty school bags made through “Making School Bags of Love,” a participatory donation campaign of the World Educational Cultural Aid WECA. I firmly believe that this one school bag will shape the future of children.

Sponsors are the main characters who change a child, a region, a continent, and even the world.  Thank you to everyone who has helped us open a bright future for Kenyan children, and please give us more strength to create a better educational environment than we have now.
