“A compassionate sharing event for local underprivileged children”
- World Educational Cultural Aid, Cheonan Regional Children's Center, 110 people invited to watch movie -

On the evening of December 29, the World Educational Cultural Aid WECA invited about 110 children from the Cheonan Regional Children's Center to the CGV Cheonan branch to watch the movie 'The Little Prince'.

WECA, the World Educational Cultural Aid, has been running an education support campaign for underprivileged children in underdeveloped countries at the CGV Cheonan branch since last November, and this movie viewing event was designed for underprivileged children in local areas who do not have many opportunities to experience culture.

The response from children at local children's centers to the movie viewing event was very enthusiastic. The children who participated in the event enjoyed the entire movie, saying, “I am very happy to be able to watch a fun movie with my older brothers,” and “I wish I could come to the movie theater again holding hands with my older brothers like I did today.”

Center Director Miyoung Moon (Public Community Children's Center in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan) said, "It was a pity that children usually had few opportunities to experience culture, but through this event, I was able to have a cultural outing with the children," and added, "I hope that events with this kind of good purpose will continue to be held in the future."

In the future, WECA, the World Educational Cultural Aid, plans to continue to focus on improving the poor educational and cultural environment in underdeveloped countries as well as domestic educational and cultural environments, and plans to expand opportunities to view cultural performances for underprivileged children.
