Although it is the same in Africa, Mozambique is one of the poorest countries compared to South Africa.
One volunteer who arrived in the area said, "When I first arrived in Mozambique, I saw the poor environment in Mozambique and
“I couldn’t get over the shock for a while.”

Mozambique was deprived of gold and ivory and exploited for labor by Arabs for about 500 years, starting in the 11th century.
From the 15th century, it was colonized by Portugal for about 500 years.
Mozambique suffered a civil war until 1992 even after independence in 1975. Despite economic recovery over the past 20 years, Mozambique
Still suffering from poverty.

The best way to eradicate poverty and poverty is through “education.” Received through valuable donation
With your donation, WECA hopes to bring hope to this place.

A volunteer who went to the field in an impoverished area in Mozambique talked to many children.
We asked the children, “What do you want to do most right now?”
Then one child answered, “I want to go to school.”

During the day, I help my parents work and take care of my younger siblings, and school is far away.
Many children were unable to go to school because they had no money to go to school.
It is a country where hunger cannot be solved, and people have to worry about their meals every day.
Even though they are children, they go to school! That was the best wish for those children.

Many organizations support Africa and build schools, but
I saw that there were many restrictions on how the school could operate.

WECA wants children to have opportunities to learn in places like this.
We want to create a cultural environment.
Provide conditions for children to go to school,
You can write with a pencil in a white notebook instead of on the dirt floor,
So that you can read books that will help you dream about the future...
