The Taekwondo class at the Anchan Gloria branch in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, of the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) is filled with the children's passionate passion and cheers.
A total of 24 underprivileged children are sweating every day to keep their bodies and minds healthy.
Classes are held for one hour every day from 1 PM.
Prevent injuries. In order to do this, all students begin by stretching together to warm up, followed by arm and leg muscle training, which is the basis of physical strength.
After building basic physical strength, step and hand movements are performed. Combined, full-fledged basic movement instruction is achieved.
Children are improving the perfection of Poomsae by moving elaborately from small steps to large steps.
In particular, by conducting group practice at each level according to the child's zodiac status and zodiac sign color, we help everyone from beginners to advanced students to demonstrate their skills to the fullest and feel a sense of accomplishment. There is.
All students in the Taekwondo class focus deeply on each training and steadily improve their skills.
The overall training attitude is very sincere, so the potential for future development is highly evaluated.
In particular, 'Mai Ching' takes a little longer to remember the movements than other children, but she practices the spirit of Taekwondo by practicing repeatedly more sincerely and patiently than anyone else, leaving a great impression on those around her.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsoring members who provide strong support so that children can develop good character and grow healthily even in a rough environment.
"The sight of children wearing matching uniforms, sweating and overcoming their limitations shows a hopeful tomorrow for Cambodia. It shows
WECA will continue to spare no effort in supporting youth in underprivileged areas so that they can grow into confident members of society by learning physical strength and proper etiquette through Taekwondo."
— World Educational Cultural Aid Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan
In the future, WECA, the World Educational Cultural Aid, will not stop finding hope for children in underprivileged areas.
