On January 28, the World Educational Cultural Aid conducted a volunteer activity to share briquettes for the underprivileged to survive the winter.
8,500 briquettes prepared through Naver Happy Bean fundraising and Dongseo Foods' warm sharing were distributed to about 50 vulnerable households in Baeksa Village, Nowon-gu. As many as 80 volunteers participated in this volunteer activity. Thanks to this, the seniors of Baeksa Village were able to spend a warm winter. Despite the cold weather, the volunteers diligently carried briquettes with bright smiles, and in an instant, the briquette warehouses of about 50 households were filled with new briquettes. We sincerely thank the sponsors, Dongseo Foods, and volunteers who participated in the sharing.
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to spare no effort in providing support to help underprivileged families in Korea survive the winter safely.
