This is news about support for improving the residential environment of group homes with The Primo.

A group home is a communal home where children who need social protection for their own reasons, such as parental neglect, abuse, or divorce, live together. Due to the nature of the daycare facility, children living within a group home do not have their own independent space and spend a lot of time together in their rooms. The beds in the common space provide an independent space for the children in the group home and serve as a shelter where they spend the longest time together. However, bed mattresses get dirty easily and are difficult to replace regularly. This is because replacing a mattress in a group home made up of only children and the facility manager requires a lot of effort and is expensive.

The World Educational Cultural Aid conducted this support project after determining that the mattresses in group homes were worn out and needed to be replaced in a timely manner. As a result, 12 group homes in Seoul that needed mattress replacement were selected and a total of 45 mattresses were replaced with new ones. Thankfully, the mattress company 'The Primo' found out about this story and provided a portion of the purchase cost as well as a waterproof cover and pillow free of charge, so we were able to gift quality mattresses to more children.
