News about WECA Donto Language School and free meals in the Philippines.

The heat wave has begun in earnest in the Philippines. The classrooms at the language school are so steamy that even with several fans running, it is not enough. Still, many children gathered with the will to learn, and the teachers worked hard to conduct the class. Rather, it was a meaningful day where teachers learned lessons from the children.

After class, the children shared snacks. It was so cute to see the children laughing and having fun even with small snacks. In an effort to support children struggling in the hot weather, free meals were provided with nutritious chicken porridge. I hope that the children of Tondo, Philippines will grow up well after eating delicious food.
