[Domestic] News on support for children’s traffic safety education at …

Domestic 2023. 11. 22 11:15

This is news about traffic safety education support for children at local children’s centers in Korea.

Minsik method, Hajun method, Serim method. These laws are named after children who lost their lives in traffic accidents. The reason why ‘naming laws’ named after children continue to be enacted is because traffic accidents involving children continue to occur. Children are small, have narrow eyesight, and do not quickly realize the direction from which sounds are coming. And if you can see the driver, you may easily think that the driver is also looking at you. Because of this, they often get into traffic accidents, and because their bodies are weaker, they often get seriously injured than adults.

In order to protect the precious lives of children, the World Educational Cultural Aid supported child-friendly participatory theater-type education, rather than simple cramming education, for children at local children's centers. Additionally, we supported traffic safety cards that reflect light. The children were immersed in the eye-catching play and had fun learning, and everyone had a great time speaking out about the need for traffic safety education.

There are still insufficient safety education opportunities for our children. In particular, children under the care of local children's centers are always excluded from opportunities for education and cultural experiences. The World Educational Cultural Aid supports various educational and cultural experience activities, such as 3D pens, drones, and upcycling education, for children at local children's centers in Korea. Through your interest, we can make a difference in the lives of our children. We ask for your interest.
