This is news about the groundbreaking ceremony and free meals for WECA Somang Kindergarten in Otan, Indonesia.
Otan is a remote island that requires a 40-minute boat ride from Kupang Island in West Timor, Indonesia. Let alone cultural facilities, there are no proper educational facilities here. Because of this, children give up on education and simply live in the same poverty as their parents. You can get an education by taking a boat to the city, but for those in difficult circumstances, it is just a vague dream.
The World Educational Cultural Aid planned to build WECA Somang Kindergarten in the Otan area. If there is a kindergarten, children can receive basic education and develop their dreams, and parents can go to work comfortably. The most effective way to solve the poverty that persistently afflicts them is education. Education can help you get a good job and free you from a life of just following your parents.
On this day, all the villagers gathered together to celebrate the start of Somang Kindergarten. In addition to the groundbreaking ceremony, free meals were provided for the children gathered. The children ate their fill and talked about what they wanted to learn when kindergarten opened.
thank you Thanks to all of you who have always been with the World Educational Cultural Aid, we were able to deliver hope to the children of Otan, Indonesia. There are still many children in the blind spots of education that we do not know about, just living day to day without even having opportunities. We ask for your continued interest so that our children can move toward their dreams of tomorrow.
