This is news about the warm briquette sharing service at the World Educational Cultural Aid.
On December 2nd, we carried out a warm briquette sharing service with volunteers. About 30 employees and volunteers from the World Educational Cultural Aid participated in this briquette sharing service. Thanks to this, we were able to provide a total of 3,000 briquettes to 15 vulnerable families in Baeksa Village, Junggye-dong. It was great to see the volunteers carrying briquettes and sweating even in the cold weather. Everyone walked busily with only the hope that vulnerable seniors would have a warm winter.
850 won per briquette. It is said that on cold winter days, 8 to 12 briquettes are consumed per day. This would be a very burdensome price for vulnerable families in difficult financial circumstances. As it gets colder these days, why not try sharing a briquette with your neighbors who stay up at night worrying that their briquette support might be cut off? Through our sponsors' sharing, we can give the gift of a warm winter to our neighbors.
