[Domestic] News on the support of kimchi filled with love for the unde…

Domestic 2023. 11. 28 09:32

The story of love for the underprivileged in Inje, Gangwon-do is about sharing kimchi.

In November, when faces were frozen by the sudden cold, the World Educational Cultural Aid conducted a kimchi sharing service with the Inje Multicultural Family Center. The staff and volunteers worked hard to make kimchi, thinking about the happy faces of the beneficiaries despite the cold. About 40 volunteers, including employees of the World Educational Cultural Aid, participated in this kimchi sharing service. Thanks to this, we were able to make 250 boxes of kimchi, weighing a total of 1,250 kg, and deliver it to vulnerable families in Inje, including rural, multicultural, single parents, and grandparents.

Vulnerable families often do not have regular income or have relatively low income, so they often do not have enough money for food, even after excluding fixed expenses such as monthly rent and heating costs. The World Educational Cultural Aid conducts a Kimchi Sharing Volunteer Service every year to ensure that underprivileged families have enough to eat during the cold winter.

thank you Thanks to our sponsors who are always with us, we were able to convey love to our neighbors in need again this year! We ask for your continued interest.
