This is news about history education about Taegeuk making at local children’s centers in Korea.

These days, it's rare to see the Taegeukgi outside. In the past, every home celebrated national holidays by hoisting the Taegeukgi, but now it is difficult to see it except in a few cases, such as schools and public institutions. But do our children know about Taegeukgi well? March 1st, March 1st, is the day of our country's declaration of independence and is a national holiday that joyfully celebrates the start of the Republic of Korea. However, because schools start the new semester after March 1, there are fewer opportunities to receive education about Independence Day.

The World Educational Cultural Aid supported history education on making Taegeuk (Taegeuk) for children. This training, which was provided to a total of 100 children from 5 local children's centers, was conducted in an easy and fun way tailored to the children's level. The children had fun learning about March 1st by drawing the Taegeukgi and making Taegeukgi piggy banks.

Just as the saying goes that there is no future for a people who forgets history, only by knowing and reflecting on history well can we avoid repeating mistakes and move in a better direction. Thanks to our sponsors, we were able to support good educational programs for children. The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to carry out various educational support projects. Thank you for your interest!
