Myanmar needs our help now.
A floating village on Inle Lake in Myanmar's Shan State suffered significant damage from a strong earthquake. This area is a place where people live on floating houses, and the earthquake claimed the lives of residents and destroyed 394 houses and 4 school buildings (a total of 16 classrooms).
Currently, electricity and communications have not yet been restored, and the area has not even been reported on by the media, effectively putting it in a blind spot for relief. As support from international relief organizations and the Myanmar government is mainly concentrated in the Mandalay region, the Inle Lake village residents are in an even more lonely and desperate situation.
We desperately need your warm attention. Please reach out to those who need help most now.
*The donations you have collected will be used primarily to rebuild collapsed educational facilities in earthquake-hit areas in Myanmar and provide daily necessities to children and residents.
