We bring you news from Adjumani WECA Secondary School in Uganda.
A small spark of hope is blooming in the middle of a refugee camp in Uganda, Africa. It’s thanks to the secondary school right above. This place has become a place that gives new hope to children who had to give up their dreams. This year, many Ugandan children came here with a desperate desire to learn.
This year, the above secondary school started new Korean and Swahili classes. In particular, the Korean language class is the first of its kind in the Adjumani region. The eyes of children learning Korean are sparkling. In addition, we are preparing to start a brass band, and we are also in the process of starting a soccer team. Children are not just studying, but are learning to discover and express their talents and dream of a wider world.
However, although there are many children who want to learn, the reality is that they are still unable to receive education due to a lack of schools and teachers. Please share your love with children so that their dreams do not fail. If your warm hearts come together, children can dream of better hopes.
