[Domestic] News of relief supplies provided to areas affected by large…

Domestic 2025. 04. 08 13:03

Although it has been 10 days since the forest fire was extinguished, the lives of residents in the affected areas are still in pain and have not recovered. When I first visited the site, it was full of burnt smells and ashes, but now, in a peaceful landscape with blooming flowers and the spirit of spring, I can actually feel the victims' wounds even more. Some residents, who have found it difficult to live in shelters due to the spread of infectious diseases, have been moved back to small temporary facilities, and tenants are struggling with a hopeless reality without receiving proper compensation after losing their homes.

The World Educational Cultural Aid visited the Immun Administrative Welfare Center and delivered emergency supplies such as soy milk, cup noodles, and short-sleeved t-shirts, which will be distributed to evacuation centers and households. We also visited the Samtteul Community Children's Center and provided necessary school supplies and snacks to children. We delivered hope to children who had to continue their studies despite the unstable environment following the fire.

Your sharing is of great help to residents and children in areas affected by forest fires. The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to do its best to provide hope to our neighbors who are experiencing difficulties. We ask for your continued interest and support from our sponsors.
