This is emergency relief news for Tondo Garbage Village in the Philippines.
At around 9 a.m. on August 6, a fire broke out in Aroma Village in Tondo, Philippines, burning down 1,000 houses and forcing approximately 10,000 residents to evacuate. After hearing the news, the WECA emergency relief team was immediately dispatched to the fire site, investigated the local damage, and procured emergency relief supplies to provide support.
Residents who lost their homes in an instant were living in tents in shelters, but due to a lack of tents, men and women were all stuck together in one place. The terrible fire has passed, but help is desperately needed to restore daily life. Sponsors, please share your heart so that the residents of Tondo can regain hope.
The World Educational Cultural Aid will use donations transparently and convey the love of our sponsors to the victims of the Tondo fire.
