News from WECA Tondo Language School in the Philippines.

After the fire in the Tondo area last August, residents are trying to regain their daily lives little by little. However, the language school has a power outage, making it difficult for children to get an education. Construction should be completed as soon as possible, but construction continues to be delayed due to poor site conditions and the continuing rainy season.

Children study in dark classrooms, relying on sunlight coming through a small window. It is thanks to the unwavering support of our sponsors that the children of Tondo did not give up hope and held on to their pencils in the pitch-black darkness. We ask for your continued interest and love from sponsors so that Tondo children can overcome disasters and realize their dreams to the fullest!
