[Domestic] Support for heavy rain damage in Budget

Domestic 2025. 09. 03 13:10

On September 2, Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, delivered groceries to areas affected by intensive deforestation in Yesan County and donations to improve the educational environment for vulnerable groups.

Yesan County, which suffered heavy damage from the last torrential rain, has not yet fully recovered. Currently, 13 children and adolescents in the area are still unable to return to their homes and are living in shelters, and some residents are also having difficulty obtaining stable meals due to delays in returning to their homes.

Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, held a ceremony to hand over 240 sets of grocery kits to children, teenagers, and local residents. In addition, we provided donations to improve the educational environment to two vulnerable families where third-year middle school and first-year high school students were affected by flooding.

We will continue to provide support to students affected by the heavy rain so that they can return to their daily lives and receive education again. We are sincerely grateful to our sponsors who participated in sharing for our neighbors in need.
