Cambodia Ratanakiri WECA With Home tells the touching story of ‘Hang’, a sponsored student who grew up strong with love and attention.
'Hang', a male student from the Tteumppun tribe, is currently in his second year of high school.
Hangi, who lost her biological father and lived lonely at her aunt's house like an orphan when her mother returned home, first came to With Home as a young, brazen-haired second-year middle school student. I knocked on the door.
Hangi's self-confidence was low when she first entered the school.
No matter what you ask "I don't know", "I can't do it", "I've never tried it", He was always intimidated, saying, "It's scary."
However, as he received warm care at the World Educational Cultural Aid's WECA With Home and began learning music and musical instruments in the second or third year, a surprising change occurred in Hangi's life.
Starting with the guitar, Hangi gradually learned the drums, keyboard, and bass guitar, revealing his hidden talent for musical instruments.
Now, I have grown into a talented person who is worthy of being scouted by a local band in Cambodia, and instead of the fear I always harbored, I have gained overflowing confidence and positive energy.
From a passive boy who bowed his head and said, "I can't do anything," Hang has now grown into a young man who confidently dreams of his future through music.
This miracle in the child's life was possible thanks to the warm support of our sponsors.
"A strong fence and educational opportunity in a child's life becomes the most powerful force that heals a broken heart and turns dreams into reality.
WECA will continue to spare no effort in supporting sponsored children like Hang so that they can confidently draw their own future without succumbing to environmental constraints."
