The World Educational Cultural Aid held the ‘Beautiful Drawing Contest’ award ceremony and Bandibull Choir choir presentation.
In the first part of the event, a pre-ceremony performance by the Injenam Elementary School Kazu Orchestra was followed by an awards ceremony for the drawing contest. Children enjoyed the joy of winning awards in various categories, including the Inje County Prime Minister Award, County Chairman Award, and Teacher Recommendation Award, and the moment their work was introduced, the children received loud applause and encouragement and felt a sense of accomplishment. Through interviews with parents and children, it was confirmed that this drawing contest went beyond a simple art activity and became a place for emotional growth for children to express themselves and be recognized.
The Bandibull Choir presentation that followed was a stage that showcased the results of the Family Center’s cultural arts education project ‘Add Value’, and featured solo, ensemble, and choir performances prepared over 20 weeks. The concentration and confidence the children showed on stage was a moment that vividly demonstrated the positive effects of cultural arts education.
After the presentation, we observed the children's creativity and expressiveness by viewing an exhibition of the drawing contest works, and discussed future directions for cooperation with the staff in charge.
Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, "For children, art is a way to discover themselves and encounter the world. Sponsors' interest and participation make this stage possible and make children's dreams even stronger."
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to expand educational and cultural programs together with local organizations so that more children can grow through culture and arts.
