On September 1, Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, provided drinking water (500 meters of bottled water) to Gangneung Elementary School. In the midst of a sudden disaster in Gangneung, which is unfamiliar with drought, Gangneung Elementary School Principal Go Moon-seok expressed his gratitude on behalf of the students.
The water storage rate of Gangneung Reservoir has currently fallen below 15% and water supply restrictions have been implemented, resulting in a very serious drinking water shortage in the Gangneung region. Through this drinking water support, drinking water will be distributed on priority to elementary school children.
It is thanks to the continued interest and love of our sponsors that the World Educational Cultural Aid was able to quickly provide drinking water to Gangneung.
The World Educational Cultural Aid's emergency relief team will continue to work hard to help the underprivileged.
