On September 27, WECA, the World Educational Cultural Aid, jointly held the 6th WECA Cup World Happiness Sharing Taekwondo Competition with World Happiness Sharing Taekwondo.
A total of 1,000 people participated in this competition, including domestic Taekwondo practitioners, children from multicultural families, orphanages, low-income families, and group homes. The children showed off their talents to the fullest, including poomsae, fighting, taekwondo gymnastics, and demonstration performances. By gathering together and competing in Taekwondo, the children experienced healthy growth through sports activities, and further developed a respect for each other's diversity across cultural barriers.
Bang Jeong-hwan, chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, "Taekwondo instills confidence in children and awakens them to the true value of sharing through the process of sweating and learning together." He added, "The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to carry out various cultural and educational activities for the balanced growth of children."
It's all thanks to our sponsors that we were able to give the children a happy day. The World Educational Cultural Aid will always continue to support quality education for the proper growth of children thanks to the sharing of our sponsors. We ask for your continued interest.
