The World Educational Cultural Aid provided underwear to children who use various local children's centers in Korea. Underwear is a necessity that must be worn every day, but due to family circumstances, it is often not replaced on time, which has a direct impact on children's hygiene and health.
This support is designed to help children go about their daily lives wearing clean, comfortable underwear. Children who received new underwear showed shy smiles, saying, “I got mine,” and “I feel good because I have new clothes,” and center officials said they were able to once again feel the need for support to take care of children’s basic living conditions.
Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, “Underwear is not a trivial item for children, but the basics that protect their health and dignity. The sponsors’ interest is making the children’s days comfortable.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to carefully look into the most basic needs in children's lives and continue to provide support to local children's centers so that they can grow up healthy and confident.
