To celebrate Christmas, the World Educational Cultural Aid delivered Christmas gifts and Taekwondo uniforms to children and teenagers in Uzbekistan. This support was provided to approximately 100 children at two Taekwondo centers for the hearing impaired and a general Taekwondo center, and was intended to support the children so that they could continue training and pursue their dreams.
In particular, the Taekwondo gym we applied for this time is home to children who are training with the dream of becoming a member of the national team, as well as promising athletes who have already won gold medals in competitions. For children, Taekwondo is not just a sport, but an important way to prove themselves and move toward the future. The children, wearing new Taekwondo uniforms, looked at each other with bright faces and renewed their will to train.
Children at the hearing-impaired Taekwondo gym also continue to develop confidence and overcome their limits through Taekwondo. The rules and concentration learned by communicating with the body instead of words are creating positive changes in children's overall lives.
Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan said, “Equipping children with equipment and an environment is a message that they can continue pursuing their dreams. The warm hearts of sponsors ensure that children never stop taking on challenges.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to provide education and sports support so that all children, regardless of disability or environment, can believe in their potential and take on challenges.
