The World Educational Cultural Aid conducted the 2025 Kimchi Sharing Volunteer Work with WECA in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. This activity was designed to provide a warm table to multicultural families and disabled families who have difficulty preparing meals due to a lack of side dishes in winter and to practice the value of sharing. A total of 13 people, including WECA employees, supporters, and volunteers, participated on this day. After sharing the purpose of the kimchi service and hygiene rules through a preliminary orientation, the volunteers wore sanitary hats and aprons and worked hard to mix the kimchi filling into the pickled cabbage and package it.
200 boxes of 5kg kimchi made with everyone's hands were delivered to the family centers in Bupyeong-gu, Michuhol-gu, Incheon Jung-gu and the Korea Association for the Physically Disabled in Incheon. Each box of kimchi contains ‘I hope you get through this winter well.’ Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, “Kimchi has greater meaning when we do it together. The hearts of our sponsors and volunteers will help protect our neighbors through the winter.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to deliver warm daily life to neighbors in need through sharing activities with the local community.
