[Overseas] Hygiene product support news for Tondo Language School in t…

Overseas 2025. 11. 28 00:00

The World Educational Cultural Aid delivered hygiene product packages to children in Tondo Garbage Village, Manila, Philippines.

The Tondo area is a representative slum area where urban waste collects, and children are forced to walk through dirt and mud to help make a living.

With a lack of soap, shampoo, and even clean water to wash wounds, they survive each day in harsh environments where even small wounds easily fester.

Children studying at Tondo Language School dream of a better future through education, but the lack of a basic sanitary environment greatly threatens their health and learning.

Accordingly, the World Educational Cultural Aid prepared a hygiene product set consisting of the most necessary items such as soap, shampoo, hand sanitizer, and bottled water and delivered them to the children.

Children who received the items expressed their joy by saying, “I can wash my hands every day with this!” and “I like being able to wash my hands cleanly.”

A small pack of hygiene products becomes an important foundation for children's lives by preventing diseases and enabling them to attend school consistently.

Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, "A day of clean washing is the most basic starting point for protecting children's health and learning. Sponsors' sharing gave children the gift of a safe daily life." He said thank you.
