On November 14, the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) held an inauguration ceremony for the ‘2nd class of WECA Supporters’ who will participate in volunteer work at home and abroad and appointed a total of 16 young members. WECA Supporters are a youth volunteer group that participates in various social contribution activities to help underprivileged children and adolescents at home and abroad. The second group members will directly work in WECA's various business sites for about a year, including supporting domestic children's education, community service, and supporting overseas education and environmental programs.

At the inauguration ceremony, letters of appointment were awarded, the organization was introduced, and information on activities was provided, and the roles and expectations that members will play in the future were shared. Supporters in attendance expressed their excitement and determination, saying, “I want to do activities that help children” and “I want to try volunteering overseas.”

CEO Bang Jeong-hwan said, “The voluntary participation of young people is a valuable force that brings hope to more children,” and added, “We will actively support the second group of supporters to create meaningful changes in various fields.”

The World Educational Cultural Aid plans to continue its activities to spread the culture of sharing with young people and to deliver dreams and opportunities to children who are underprivileged in education.
