At Bandong Elementary School located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Taekwondo classes were held for all 5th grade elementary school students. This class is designed to help children solidify the basics of Taekwondo and develop body balance and concentration.
In the class, training was focused on various kicking movements along with practicing Poomsae Chapter 3. The children gradually learned the movements through repeated practice and gained confidence, and they showed concentration by observing each other's posture until the end.
Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan said, “Taekwondo is an education that develops not only physical strength but also mental strength in children. I hope that through training, they will learn to believe in themselves and take on challenges.”
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to work with the children of Bandong Elementary School to develop a healthy body and good character through Taekwondo.
