The World Educational Cultural Aid provided malaria prevention mosquito nets to 100 families in vulnerable areas of Tanzania. In Tanzania, malaria remains one of the deadliest diseases, and children in particular are exposed to serious risks, including high fever, dehydration, and coma, just from a single small mosquito. A single infection can lead to disruption of schooling and threaten children’s learning and future.
The dense mosquito net set delivered this time is not just a bed protection product, but is like an ‘education safety net’ that ensures that children can wake up healthy and go to school in the morning. Parents were relieved and said, “The children can now sleep well without fear,” and teachers said, “We hope that the number of children missing school due to malaria will decrease.”
Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, "Children must be safe at night so they can study the next day. Sponsors' warm sharing is protecting the children's lives and learning."
The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to expand health and education support so that children in malaria-risk areas can continue learning without worrying about disease.
