[Overseas] News on construction of cafeteria and auxiliary facilities …

Overseas 2026. 02. 26 09:48

The construction of the cafeteria and auxiliary facilities (kitchen, cafeteria, and classrooms) at Narok Early Childhood Teachers' College in Kenya is progressing smoothly. It is a space provided so that prospective early childhood teachers can learn and live in a more stable environment, and is an important process to lay the foundation for education.

Currently, the foundation construction and wall construction on the first floor have been completed, and preparation work for the upper slab construction on the first floor is in full swing. We plan to complete the preliminary work within this week and begin full-scale slab construction next week by renting a cement mixer machine. As we are in the stage of solidly erecting the framework of the building, we are continuing the process with great care on site.

Although the rainy season begins in March, we are proceeding with construction stably by taking into account the weather conditions and preparing to ensure there are no setbacks in the process.

Chairman Bang Jeong-hwan said, “The educational environment is the foundation for preparing for the future. I hope that this construction will become a strong learning base for prospective teachers in the Narok region of Kenya.”

The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to build educational infrastructure that meets local needs and create an environment where learning can continue.
