We bring you a piano class at the Tree of Life Center in Amman, Jordan, where children develop their dreams through music.
This class is part of an educational support project to help children find emotional stability and discover artistic talent through playing musical instruments.
The children focused on finger practice and reading the names of the precepts, which are the basics of playing the piano. Thanks to the precious spirit conveyed through overseas partnerships, children are building the foundation of music in a systematic environment.
Following the basic practice, we also had time to play 'School Bell Tinting' together. The children felt a great sense of accomplishment in the process of completing the song by pressing the keys one note at a time. This support for art and culture serves as valuable nourishment for children to grow brightly even in difficult environments.
We will continue to provide educational and cultural support to refugee children in Amman, Jordan so that they can receive education without discrimination and grow up healthily.
“Music has a special power to touch children’s hearts and instill confidence for the future. I hope that Tree of Life Center’s piano classes will be a happy time for Jordanian children to play their dreams.”
- Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid
