At the WECA JOYFUL Center located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, March was as full of enthusiasm for learning as the warmer weather. English and Korean classes for local children were actively conducted here.

English classes were subdivided into levels, and learning was tailored to the children's level. Students in Level 1 class learned adverbs of frequency and practiced making everyday expressions richer, and students in Level 2 class learned how to use various sentences through past simple. In particular, it was impressive to see the children actively using the grammar they had learned in speaking and developing comprehensive language skills by combining listening and reading.

Thanks to recent Korean language promotion activities conducted at local schools, a large number of new students have joined the Joyful Center. We organized new groups for each level through detailed testing to accommodate the increased number of students, and divided classes into morning and afternoon classes to increase concentration. From basic short vowels and date expressions to advanced grammar ‘-jiman’, students are falling in love with the charm of Korean at their own pace.

The Korean language class that started with new friends is injecting cheerful energy into the entire center. Although Hangul may seem unfamiliar when encountered for the first time, the children's eyes are full of passion for learning a new language.

Bang Jeong-hwan, Chairman of the World Educational Cultural Aid, said, "Learning a language is like getting the key to a wider world. I hope that Kazakh children will further their dreams through English and Korean and continue their warm relationship with Korea."

The World Educational Cultural Aid will continue to provide strong support through the Joyple Center so that Kazakh children can receive quality education and grow into global talents.
