WECA Seed operated by the World Educational Cultural Aid (WECA) under a business agreement with Hlaing Thaya Public High School in Yangon, Myanmar. In the Taekwondo classroom.
Schedule coordination due to Myanmar local national policy and academic schedule (exam period) Despite the hardships,, the children did not give up on learning and actively participated in the weekend substitute classes.
After completing thorough stretching and physical training to prevent injuries, the children focused on poomsae and sparring training.
We corrected our posture by repeatedly learning basic movements and directing our gaze. In particular, we developed a sense of step and distance control similar to the actual game through customized mitt training by professional sparring instructors. I learned it with my body.
Children's precise and powerful kicks toward the mitt The eyes were full of sincerity and a sense of accomplishment as one focused on the goal.
Taekwondo training is about learning etiquette and pushing yourself beyond your own limits. Even in poor environments, it serves as a valuable foundation for children to develop a healthy body and a strong mind.
Wear your uniform neatly. We ask for your warm interest and strong support from our sponsoring members for the children of the Seed Taekwondo class who will take a powerful leap forward and open a bright future for Myanmar.
"Even in an unstable environment, the small sense of accomplishment gained from sweating, learning poomsae, and kicking the mitt becomes a solid seed that makes children not give up hope in life.
WECA will always be by the side of Myanmar children so that they grow up healthy with an unbreakable heart."
